you can be living life in all the "right" ways-- getting the best grades, being accepted by society, having the highest achievements from the most prestigious places (not specifically me)
, yet still fall into societal traps or somehow still be deeply unhappy.
So maybe you should break free from the chains that you latch onto yourself: beliefs that there are the "right" and the "wrong", beliefs of what you "should" do, or the need to always do your "best",
and instead
make every "now" enjoyable for yourself: whether that means spending more time alone, or wearing the craziest outfit out of your house, or spending too much time on skincare.
(sometimes, by being responsible to yourself---- studying, doing house chores etc)
focus on the people around you, lift them up. be there when they're happy. be there when they're hurting. be someone sincere and genuine, warm and kind.
the right people are always worth investing in, and that lasts the longest.
with the right people, you are always enough. in fact, you're more than enough.
be people-oriented, but stay away from the toxic.
and live your life mostly for yourself, for the people you love, and slowly for the people you're forced to love. love them too.
---------
after some time when you've loved yourself enough, and don't feel the need to prove your worth to anyone, then
let people walk in front of you. dont be the first to enter a room. walk last.
let people speak before you do. dont be the one to interrupt with your own opinion. listen.
give more, take less, have no expectation. having enough for yourself is enough.
